maniac magee goes onto the west end and gets in a little fight with mares bar. they say that he can stop traffic for 10 minutes while he crosses the street. maniac met a black girl when he went over in the west end she gave him a book to borrow when she got so mad with him. maniac reads the book every day. i wonder if he is ever going to retern the book or keep it.

I wonder to if he will return the book to, i'm sure Maniac will because he promised and he doesn't seem like a charecter who's very mean. Maniac so far seems like a kind and caring charecter.

Maybe Maniac will not return the book and run away. Or maybe he will try to fix it or buy Amanda a new one. I don't think he would run away; he just doesn't seem like that kind of person.
