The Book Maniac Magee leaves me hanging. Each chapter just ends. I start to have so many predictions. One of the predictions is Maniac will be found by his Aunt and Uncle.
Also I thought that Maniac will find friends, I thought this because since people are being so rude to him now I thought that people will come through and realize he has certain qualities that other people have, and that he is just like one of them.

I think that Maniac is going to go back to his Aunt and Uncle too, i wonder if he will make friends. If he does i wonder if the friend that he made would be like Maniac and would he call him Maniac Magee or Jeffory? I like how you said that mabey the people who were rude to Maniac would relize his good qualities. I also wonder if Maniac becomes friends with some one who was rude to him if Maniac would forgive them for what they did to him in the past. Good Thinking VS!

Although I dont agree with the Aunt and Uncle thing I am left hanging aswell and I think thats one skill the Authour does amazingly well.

I think you are perceptive in thinking about Maniac's personality. It seems that each chapter tells a little more about him. I like that he does not judge people. He does not seem to care about the division between the East and West ends. Ms. S

You know, I didn't think of it before, but I do think Maniac will go back to his Aunt and Uncle. I'm glad the Beales, at least, are treating him like he is a human, just like them.
