I think Maniac will make a lot of enemies through out the book. John McNab and Mars Bar already hate him; and I think Amanda will to after she sees the book. She likes her books a lot and will probably not tolerate a torn, crumpled up page. Also, I remember from the beginning it said something about two girls spinning a jump rope. One might be from the East End while the other from the West End. Maniac will probably bring the two parts of town together so they can be friends.

  1. I like your thinking about Maniac bringing the east and the west end together even though their skin color is diffrent. I dont think that Amanda will be mad, sure she might be a little angery because her book was ripped but mabey she will forgive maniac because she knew Mars Bar and knew he was a bully and that it wasn't Maniacs fault that the book got ripped.

  3. I agree with you too its amazing how many enemys he has made so far. You said something about bringing the west and east end together right? That might be a bad thing for Magee becuase imagine the Cobras and Mars Bar joining! That cant be good.

  4. I think you are absolutely right about the whole enemy thing. I mean if you think about it he hasn't really made any friends, just enemys.

  7. Nice job thinking about this division in town and Maniac's part in possibly bringing it down. It seems that he doesn't pay attention to it himself anyway. He seems to defy all boundaries. He goes right in to Finsterwalds, faces McNab, eats a piece of Mars Bars' candy bar without hesitation. Is he fearless? or just ignorant? Ms. S
