Roll Of Thunder Hear My Cry

Roll Of thunder started off kind of slow and boring but once you started getting  farther into the Book, it got a lot better.Cassie is a very persistent girl for example, I did not understand why Cassie couldn't figure out why they go to a separate school, and that they don't have a bus and use poor books in school that starts from whites and good condition to Negro and very poor condition. It's all because she is black! So when a white tells you to wait because they have another customer that was white I don't see how Cassie couldn't see that she had to wait for T.J to get his stuff because someone that was a different race then her needed something and was more important. Also I had an inference on why Jeremy talks to Stacy and Cassie. I was thinking that he is against everyone thinking whites are better than blacks. Also that he thinks blacks are nice to people but the whites are treating everyone like slaves even though slavery is over. There is one more thing I was wondering about, is T.Js family poor and that is why they share with Cassie's family or is it normal to have numerous numbers of family's sharing farms together. All in All Roll Of thunder was not that good in the beginning but it got way better since then. 😊
