Extinct

Extinct was, not is
And now is nevermore
For sadly, this
Word is a lost word,
For extinct means dead
Dinosaurs,
Dodos,
Passenger pigeons,
And the gossamer-winged,
the purple and azure,
The Xerces Blue butterfly,
All extinct
They no longer exist
On Earth
