Ancestors

Your ancestors are very old you see,

And that's why you should believe,

That maybe they went on the Mayflower

or sailed across the Titanic

Or maybe didn't know about taking showers they bathed in

lakes and got the blues cause their 202.

They no longer need food so their in a bad mood.

THEN...

In 1892 they got the flu,

And the time came when our ancestors had to go

and nothing was ever the same

But i say its just rubbish!

A distress signal heard, they decided to look,
And a rescue mission the crew undertook….

Do you have a nickname? Well John or Crash Coogan does!He lives for football, and crashing into people. So everyone calls him Crash. It's like another name! But them Crash and his little sister Abby get a new nerdy neighbor named Penn Webb whose dream is to fun in the Penn Relays and win. Crash hates him and he turns into a new bully target. But then Crash's grampa Scooter came to stay, for good!
Crash is overjoyed! Scooter is the dad he never had! He comes to all his games, and practices! But then Crash joins the track team and no one can beat him so he decides to compete for a spot in the Penn Relays, and of cource Penn does to. Will Crash do something nice to let Penn meet his goal?

Crash is about a boy named John Coogan. He meets a boy in first grade named Penn Webb. Crash was always fast he beat Penn in a race.Penn told Crash that he was named after the Penn Relays a famous track meet. But Crash and his friends are bully's. In seventh grade Crash and Penn raced off once again.Penn won! It was the first time Crash ever lost in a race.

Do you think you have a wierd, dorky kid in school? Well, not as wierd as this one. A boy named Crash Coogan has this dorky, wierd kid in school named Penn webb. Penn has one toy, lives in a itty bitty house, and wears used clothes. Penns pretty wimpy, while Crash is a top notch football player. Crash and his friend Mike Deluca bully Penn. Then Crash's fun grandfather comes. But when something terrible happens, things change.

This is the best book in the world. It is about a boy named Crash [Jhon Coogan] and how an oatburger eating new kid changes his life. Will he chose to be in the geek squad with the new kid or will he still be friends with his buddies and pull pranks on other kids and be the school bully. This book is so good that you will read for hours without putting it down. Read other Jerry Spinneli books they are so good you will fall in love with them.

Crash Coogan is the man. He is the football man, and his neighbor, Penn Webb, is a dorky cheerleader from North Dakota. Now that Penn is in Pennsylvania Crash won't leave him alone, and poor Penn doesn't have a clue. Crash's lifestyle is rough and leads him into a lot of fights. But when a big race comes up, known as the Penn Relays, Crash might be changed. Or will a special someone do that? This is a fast-moving story that you will never want to put down. It's a great book and almost anyone will enjoy it!

Have you ever bullied someone or been bullied? Seventh grader and football star Crash Coogan plays on the same team with Mike, the biggest bully in school, and they become friends. Soon Crash and Mike begin picking on a nerdy kid, named Penn Webb, whose weird clothes and dorky smile make an easy target. But, when a tragic accident happens in Crash’s family, his friendships and his life may be changed forever.

Usually parents call babies cute nicknames like peanut or tootsie wootsie. But do their friends call them that too? Crashes friends do. Crash is devoted to 1 thing football. Every thing gets weirder when Penn Webb moves into town. A boy as a cheer leader, a boy who won't wrestle! Crash decides to mess around with Penn and tell him whats cool and whats not. Until a huge family event happens and Crash turns his attitude around. And has a big decision to make to keep his cool and still be the crash master or lose his perspective of being the school bully and stand up for little miss spider. What will he do?

Crash by Jerry Spinelli is a fast but hard hitting story. Crash Coogan, football fanatic, is more than just a touch down king-he's a bully. His favorite thing to do is pick on the dorky Penn Webb; the little Quaker from North Dakota. He's been at it since the first grade and Penn doesn't stop it from happening. In the seventh grade, Mike Deluca steps it up another notch that could take the bullying too far. Then a tragic accident occurs and an unexpected gift is dropped off on the Coogan's doorstep from the "richest" family in town. Crash and Penn could continue to be enemies or they could realize their differences don't matter.

There's more to this book than just fun and jokes. There are heart tugging lessons that can be found almost no where else. One important lesson includes that it doesn't matter what is on the outside but who you are on the inside. Respect anybody is the main lesson Crash can teach.
